The Walt Disney World parking lot trams are moving again, but not to bring guests into the parks. The tram service has been shut down since the parks reopened last year. Now, some of the trams in the EPCOT parking lot have been placed along the back of the parking lot.
These photos show the area on the side of the lot where the trams are usually parked.
The photo below show the area along the back of the parking lot where they have been moved.
At least two of the trams are still parked near the security area in the front of the lot
In June, we reported that Cast Members were setting up poles and chains in a tram loading area in preparation for the tram service reopening. The completed work can be seen in the foreground of the photo below.
Just last month, Disney Disney Careers website posted a new job listing for Parking Operations Cast Members, signaling the eventual return of the trams.

We need trams back! It has been too long and with things getting busier the walks are too far! Hearing the sounds and riding up to the main entrance was a great way to start and end the day. It’s no longer about COVID and it’s time we demand the Guest service Disney should be known for providing.
I agree 💯 Percent !!!!
I brought the family to Magic Kingdom in Oct and the hike back to the car from the TTC was pretty brutal after a whole day hiking around the park. I was expecting to invest in annual passes soon, but I’m definetly waiting until they resume tram service!
Parking fee should be discounted as long as there is no courtesy transportation… More cost and less service is becoming to common these days.
Stop with the money saving tactics and take care of the customer that is already being overcharged….
