From merchandise and food specials to decorations and statues, there has been no shortage of festive offerings to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World. Now The Ganachery at Disney Springs is getting in on the fun, offering Annual Passholders a new chocolate.
AP Exclusive Chocolate Square — $3 (not AP Discount eligible)
Passion fruit square with milk chocolate coating and a white chocolate Mickey Mouse AP decoration
The squares are available now, with no end date provided. They are $3 each. A box of six is $16. Guests can purchase a box of nine for $22 or a box of 16 for $38.
The decorative white chocolate panel is sweet and reminiscent of fondant, as it’s not fully tempered as would be expected.
The milk chocolate adds a nice richness to the passion fruit filling. The filling is a nice consistency, but does have a slightly artificial aftertaste that reminded us of a fruit gum.
Overall, this was not our favorite chocolate due to that artificial aftertaste, but still a decent treat to celebrate the 50th anniversary.

For their prices everything should taste fresh and the only lingering flavors, if there are any at all, should be of natural flavors like chocolate, vanilla, and other pure ingredients.
