Contempo Cafe in Disney’s Contemporary Resort has a new Halloween mini cake, so of course, we had to go try it out.

Contempo Cafe is right next to Chef Mickey’s.

Cast Members have put all of the cafe’s special treats on display.

Halloween Mini Cake – $5.99

Halloween sprinkle cake filled with candy bar custard topped with dark chocolate glaze

The cake is orange with dripping black glaze and Halloween-themed decorations.

The taste of the dark chocolate glaze is obvious with each bite.

The little pumpkin on top is cute, but is just fondant, so not something fun to eat.

We thought the cake itself would taste like confetti cake, but it really just tasted like plain vanilla. Plus, it was dry.

The candy bar custard tasted like sweet caramel and there was barely any inside. There was about one bite’s worth.

This cake was ultimately disappointing. It’s cute, but there was nothing special about it, and no elements were good enough to warrant just getting it as a snack.
