In addition to the new paid Genie+ program, three individual Lightning Lane selections will also be available at Disneyland for an extra fee.

At this time, Disney has only said that a start date for the Disneyland version will be announced soon.

Insanity. We made reservations and secured passes months ago for our first vacation since Covid, only to find out since that Extra Magic hours are being cut in half and Fast Passes will not be returning. Now, we’ll have to get up early while on vacation and pay $15 per ticket just to have a chance of maybe getting ONE Lightning Lane and may have to pay another $15 per ride if we do, all while rushing around trying to get 5 of us to the park in time to use that little window of extra time resort guests get now. Will we have to do kart wheels next, or just keep forking out more $ for the privilege of doing more work in order to try to enjoy ourselves at the park? Universal is a breeze compared to WDW, which feels like a ridiculous amount of work now.
