When we saw the list of 50th anniversary treats coming to Walt Disney World on October 1, we knew we would have to try the Uncle Orville Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow Sundae as soon as possible. This sundae is inspired by the classic scene in Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress when Uncle Orville is relaxing in a bathtub.

It’s available at Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom.

My Disney Experience lists the sundae at $23, but it was $16.99 when we arrived to order it in person.
Uncle Orville Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow Sundae – $16.99
Chocolate and vanilla soft-serve, brownie pieces, hot fudge, and whipped cream topped with red, white, and blue sprinkles served in a “bathtub”

At the $16.99 price, this is a solid value. While the bathtub is plastic, the overall weight of the sundae is massive.

It basically has an entire brownie at the bottom and there is no shortage of soft serve on top, plus the sundae staples of fudge and whipped cream.

The red, white, and blue star sprinkles are a reference to the bathtub scene taking place during the Fourth of July.

All the sundae elements work well together, with the flavors blending nicely to deliver a delicious and shareable item.

The bathtub itself is large, well-designed, and solid for a small souvenir.
