“Tokyo DisneySea 20th Anniversary ‘Time to Shine!’ in Concert” to Tour Japan in 2022

Since Tokyo DisneySea’s 15th Anniversary “The Year of Wishes” celebration in 2016, the Oriental Land Company has organized a touring orchestra to travel around Japan and perform classic songs from the Tokyo Disney Resort in celebration of park and resort anniversaries. And the tradition is set to continue next year with the “Tokyo DisneySea 20th Anniversary ‘Time to Shine!’ in Concert”, set to tour Japan from January to August 2022!


The concert series will consist of 17 performances across all of Japan and feature beloved songs from the illustrious 20 year history of Tokyo DisneySea, including selections from popular shows like The Legend of Mythica, Big Band Beat, Bonfire Dance, and Fantasmic!, as well as attraction themes like “Compass of Your Heart” from Sindbad’s Storybook Voyage.

Performances are as follows:

  • January 8, 2022—Misato City Culture Hall, Saitama
  • February 19, 2022—Takasaki City Theatre, Gunma
  • February 23, 2022—Kumamoto-Jo Hall, Kumamoto
  • February 24, 2022—Fukuoka Sunpalace, Fukuoka
  • February 25, 2022—Hiroshima Bunka Gakuen HBG Hall, Hiroshima
  • February 27, 2022—GranCube Osaka, Osaka
  • March 13, 2022—Tachikawa Stage Garden, Tokyo
  • March 20, 2022—Aichi Prefectural Art Theater, Aichi (Nagoya)
  • April 3, 2022—Niigata Prefectural Civic Center, Niigata
  • April 9, 2022—Tokyo Electron Hall Miyagi, Miyagi (Sendai)
  • April 10, 2022—Iwaki Alios Performing Arts Center, Fukushima
  • April 29, 2022—Maihama Amphitheatre, Chiba (Tokyo Disney Resort)
  • May 1, 2022—Hokuto Culture Hall, Nagano
  • May 3, 2022—Pacifico Yokohama, Kanagawa
  • May 5, 2022—Sapporo Cultural Arts Theatre Hitaru, Hokkaido
  • August 13, 2022 (1pm & 6pm)—Tokyo International Forum, Tokyo

Tickets are available through lottery on the Disney Event Live website (in Japanese) through October 11th, with results announced on October 15th. No word if more tickets will be offered as physical distancing restrictions are eased in Japan.
