Things are getting merry and bright around the Magic Kingdom as Main Street, U.S.A. is decked out for the holiday season. Thanks to the dedicated Cast Members, Christmas decorations popped up overnight, transforming the park from creepy to cheery. Many of the decorations have changed, with the classic designs replaced with shining gold for the 50th anniversary celebrations.

Decorations begin at the tapstiles.

Wreaths adorn the Main Street Train Station, greeting guests as they enter the park.

Garlands are strung from every available surface.

Even the lampposts are getting into the holiday spirit.

The tall, towering Christmas tree has taken its place.

The tree shines bright with ornaments, candles, a “popcorn” garland, and more.

Gifts and toys are piled at the base of the tree.

The tree is topped with a star.

Wreaths adorn the lanterns as well.

The view toward Cinderella Castle is looking pretty festive. We can’t wait to see it light up at night!

The Emporium is decorated inside and out to celebrate the upcoming holiday season.

It always amazes me that overnight, Disney manages to take down their Halloween decorations AND replace them with a ton of Holiday decor. It’s also amazing to see your photos posted within hours of that feat. Thanks for the photo update!
How long after Christmas does Disney leave the decorations up for?
(typically, knowing that this year anything goes)
