Primeval Whirl has been completely demolished at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. What Disney will do with the empty piece of land remains to be seen, but for now, it is surrounded by walls and scrim.

Construction vehicles and materials can be seen through the scrim.

Blue fencing has been erected around some of the site.

Something is covered in a blue tarp at the far end of the site.

Remnants of the coaster have been cleared from the site.

The blue tarp seems to be covering whatever materials and elements remain.

Through the scrim, some rubble is visible.

As are some wooden poles sticking out from the ground. The purpose for the new posts is unclear, but could be for a more permanent barrier.

It seems likely that the area will remain blocked off for a while.
