More progress has been made at the site of the former Primeval Whirl attraction. The Disney’s Animal Kingdom attraction permanently closed over one year ago. Now the ride has become extinct.

A look through this opening reveals that no vertical structure remains. Scraps of metal are strewn about.

From this angle, one small structure still appears to be intact near the retaining wall.

This wide view shows the heavy equipment being used to demolish the structure.

The lone remaining vertical structure is the former attraction’s entrance.

Looking between the fence and the roofline reveals that portions of the entrance structure have collapsed.

Work lights allow the demolition to take place at night.

Two backhoes, a lift, and a small tractor are parked inside the site. Not that long ago, the back corner of one side of Primeval Whirl was still standing.

Disney has installed more permanent fencing along one side of the site. It is likely that this fence will remain until the site is repurposed.

Good. These store bought carnival rides have no place in Disney World, or any Disney theme park. They look so cheap and out of place in the ‘most magical place on Earth’.
to be replaced with nothing. cheapact said he is done spending money. so don’t hold your breath, that fence is going to be there for a long time.
Don’t worry he will be gone as soon as things simmer done..
California Adventure has some attractions that would be appropriate such as the Golden Zepher, Silly Symphony Swings, or Jumping Jellyfish (obviously re-themed to be in Dinoland).
