Due to the new legislation from Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, Walt Disney World has paused their COVID-19 vaccination requirement for Cast Members.
“We believe that our approach to mandatory vaccines has been the right one as we’ve continued to focus on the safety and well-being of our Cast Members and Guests, and at this point, more than 90 percent of active Florida-based Cast Members have already verified that they are fully vaccinated. We will address legal developments as appropriate,” a Disney spokesperson told local network Fox35.
The mandate had required all Cast Members to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Governor DeSantis’ office responded to the statement:
“As we would expect, Disney has amended its vaccination policy to comply with Florida law. We believe that all companies in Florida will likewise follow the law signed by Governor DeSantis this week.Â
Nobody should lose his or her job over these mandates. Disney is a major employer in Florida, and we are proud that the “happiest place on Earth” is here in our state. Governor DeSantis’ leadership has saved countless jobs and livelihoods before this holiday season. We hope Disney and any other company that has suspended or terminated workers due to vaccine mandates will consider re-hiring them.”

it is not a vaccine! it only boosts your bodies immune system, it does not prevent you from catching it or passing it on. that is what a true vaccine does. i understand peoples fears but whatever happened to my body my choice?
I strongly encourage a course in immunology or public health. You have been woefully misled about the definitions and functions of a vaccine.

FL has the lowest COVID rate of any state. Facts are facts. CA, NY, TX and FL the numbers are practically a wash regardless of the tactics used and with the European countries with high Vax rates having surges again it appears the Vax isn’t the cure all we have been lead to believe. Just don’t ignore facts to satisfy your political beliefs that have proven to be failures.
