BREAKING: Armed Incident Occurs at Disneyland Resort

UPDATE 9:15p.m.: Disney has confirmed that an incident occurred at the Golden Horseshoe but the guest was unarmed. The situation has been resolved.

According to, an armed incident has occurred at Disneyland Resort.

Security was reportedly swarming The Golden Horseshoe restaurant when a cast member who fled the scene explained that a guest brought in a weapon, not believed to be a gun, and began threatening cast members.

The guest reportedly tried to barricade a cast member exit at the back of the establishment.

  1. I actually had a few nightmares of something like this with different weapons. It’s my biggest fear that someone in Disney might get hurt. I don’t want violence to happen anyone.

  2. Glad those fancy detectors are picking up knives. And oh wait somebody’s getting paid $12 an hour and sleeping through it. I get it.

    1. They may not catch a knife but they always seem to need to inspect my sunglasses case! It’s obviously so dangerous, those pesky UV rays have no chance.

    2. I can attest to them picking up knives, as I lost one of my favorites when I forgot to remove it prior to entering and taking it back to my room was not feasible. My guess? Selfie stick represented as an expanding baton in an intimidation attempt.
