Disneyland Park Sets Up Large, Unthemed Screen and Lighting Rigs by the Millennium Falcon in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

A large, unthemed digital screen and lighting rigs have been erected by the Millennium Falcon at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland Park. Cast Members in the area told us they are for an upcoming private event later this week.

The screen and rigs are set up near the entrance to Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run.

The unthemed trusses and large screen that cover a section of the Millennium Falcon are out-of-place in the otherworldly Batuu.

Several temporary planters have been set up around the screen, presumably barriers. However, the large area of greenery draws more attention to the anachronistic setup.

  1. Until you mentioned it was for a private event, I would have assumed that it would be for either the Christmas TV special or for New Year’s Eve, since large un-themed screens are set up near Sleeping Beauty Castle every year.
