PHOTOS: Magic Kingdom Monorail Lines Down Due to Track Switch Malfunction

After issues with the EPCOT Monorail line this morning, the Magic Kingdom Monorail lines are both down. A track switch malfunction has prevented both the express and resort lines from being able to run.

Between Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Cast Members were investigating the issue at the track switch.

This track switch is where Monorails can take another line to a storage area backstage.

At Disney’s Contemporary Resort, buses were running to Magic Kingdom to make up for the lack of Monorail.

We also witnessed guests at the Transportation and Ticket Center crowding onto ferryboats due to the Monorail downtime.
