It has been a few days since we checked in on the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind construction, so we cruised over on the “Highway in the Sky” (the Monorail) to see how it’s progressing today.

Not much has changed here, with the repainting of the columns still incomplete. All of the chevrons were this copper color at one time before crews began repainting them to black. Here, on the left side of the building, the columns have not been repainted yet.

These gray panels were installed last week, and the only change has been three more installed, still covered in their white protective coating.

Three panels have also been installed here at the right flank of the entrance structure.

The chevrons along the right side of the building are almost entirely black, with more gray details added to the skinny front faces of the structures.

These “alien” gray geometric shapes are growing and adding complexity as crews work to add detail to the otherwise stark, black panels. Near to the back of the row, the last panel still has some of the copper color on the front face where the grey shapes will be added.
