BREAKING: Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park Closed January 3 Due to Forecasted Low Temperatures

Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is expected to reopen today after a lengthy refurbishment. But due to expected forecasted low temperatures, the water park will be closed tomorrow, January 3, just a day after it is expected to reopen.

  1. I never understood that why after all this time they chose to reopen Typhoon Lagoon during the coldest month in Florida? Yes, I get that “cold” is a relative term in that area compared to other parts of the country, but even in the low 70’s who wants to go into a water park unless you are from way up north or Alaska where 70 is your high for the summer?
I’m glad Typhoon Lagoon is reopening, but why now?
