The Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend is here, and the runDisney Expo opened yesterday to runners and guests. Merchandise began selling very quickly, and today, very little remains. With the Expo open tomorrow afternoon, Disney apparently improvised additional merchandise by selling the signage from empty displays.
As merchandise sells out, they are marking the signs with price tags.
The banners can be purchased for $50.
Many of them have damage from installation and removal.
Only the dated banners are for sale.

Could there EVEN BE a bigger sign of a money grab then this? Truly despicable, I saw live streams of poor people with their luggage who I only assume went to the expo straight from the airport only to find no memorabilia for their race accomplishments. I mean RunDisney is really cold out here, holding the races still during a severe outbreak in central Florida and just sending that disease all over the country after people fly home. No merch, plenty of Covid…Every mile is TRAGIC.
Wow. So it WASNT the reseller(s). It was Disney that didn’t have enough merch. Wow wow wow. I should say I’m shocked but I’m actually not.
Wow this looks like a new low. Disney is taking us for fools. They know we will buy anything. Smh
