Celebrity Chefs, ‘Alice’s Wonderland Bakery Unbirthday Party,’ and More Announced for the 2022 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival

The Food & Wine Festival is returning to Disney California Adventure on March 4 and running through April 26. In addition to the 12 food booths, this year’s festival will have celebrity and Disney chef appearances, a cupcake decorating course for kids, and much more.

“Iron Chef” floor reporter Jet Tila, “Chopped” champion and Adya chef-owner Shachi Mehra, and “American Barbecue Showdown” judge Kevin Bludso will all make appearances during the festival.

Brewmasters chats will take place on the weekends at the Paradise Beer Garden, with the festival’s signature cocktails served in the Sonoma Terrace Lounge.

There will be mixology seminars at Sonoma Terrace and winemaker receptions at Carthay Circle restaurant for a separate fee.

Kids from ages 3 to 11 can take part in a free hands-on cupcake decorating course inspired by Disney Junior’s “Alice’s Wonderland Bakery.” The “Alice’s Wonderland Bakery Unbirthday Party” will be hosted by Rolly Pin, Alice, and Princess Rosa. Guests will be able to sign up 45-minutes before the courses start at the Hollywood Backlot Stage.

At the Hollywood Backlot, you may also encounter Chef Goofy or dance along with Chip ‘n’ Dale as the Jammin’ Chefs serve up tasty new rhythms using pots and pans.

Disney California Adventure also promises plenty of live music, art displays, and kid craft stations.

The Food & Wine Festival Sip and Savor pass will be available again, allowing guests to pre-pay for eight tabs that can be redeemed at select locations.

  1. i wonder if the new Alice from the “Alice’s Wonderland Bakery” series will be portrayed as a costumed character (like other Disney Junior characters) or a human actor (something similar in the style of Disney Junior Dance Party on Tour)
