Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser guests will be eligible to purchase select merchandise on shopDisney.com up to 60 days prior to their reservation check-in date and up to 30 days after their check-out date. In order to purchase, the email address used to sign into shopDisney must also be linked to their Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser reservation.

Made by a Chinese company who only saw photos of Star Wars, with no idea of the context of the films… A bunch of generic junk. No better way to say “I wasted $5,000 on a vacation” than these souvinEARS.
If you want to spoil your children with an expensive vacation, stay at a regular hotel for 1/3 the price and splurge the rest. They’ll come home with a bunch of plastic toys, but will have a more memorable time.
I wonder how much Disney makes off of these “One time use” items before they go into a closet for eternity. It’s gotta be half of their business.
All things considered, I expected the price on these items to be significantly higher. Depending on the quality of the material and stitching, these *might* not be a terrible buy.
Still, I find myself agreeing with Darth above: a family wanting to give their kids a memorable experience would be much better served just attending the parks from either a different Disney hotel or one of the many others in the area.
But then again, the whole Stalriner “experience” is clearly aimed at the superfans who want an official LARP-type experience. As someone who knows a few LARPers, and is intimately aware of how much enthusiasts spend on costuming already, I would not be surprised to see these costumes be a successful enterprise for Disney before showing up on the secondary market.
Willing to bet that on several cast member scripts aboard that ship there’s a note that says “remember, if you see someone wearing our official merch, compliment them on their outfit to reward their purchase. Even if they’re wearing it with the rattiest jeans because we didn’t sell pants.”
