Disney+ has released the first trailer for the new “Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers” movie, streaming May 20, 2022.
The movie combines several different animation styles with live-action, similar to “Who Framed Roger Rabbit?” In addition to the original Rescue Rangers, there are also cameo appearances by the Three Little Pigs, Roger Rabbit, Scrooge McDuck, Aladdin on the Magic Carpet, and several My Little Pony characters. The end of the trailer pokes fun at Tom Hooper’s “Cats” film and mo-cap films by Robert Zemeckis.
“Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers” stars John Mulaney as the voice of Chip and Andy Samberg as the voice of Dale. It’s directed by Akiva Schaffer, from a screenplay by Dan Gregor and Doug Mand, from an original story by Barry Schwartz.

I can’t wait for Chip and Dale’s Rescue Rangers in May 20! Awesome!
Huh….. the trailer wasn’t bad actually. It looks like the director has what it takes.
They weren’t kidding about it being retro, as for the voices, someone did theorize that they decided to take a new direction with them, with the voices here being the real voices in the films world. Also it’s interesting that they are going all out with the animation here, actually using multiple styles at once. Plus it seems they by got permission by Hasbro to use My Little Pony characters for the film. Do I smell future Crossover here.
Those aren’t their voices! Did we really need celebrities to voice Chip and Dale? UGH!
I think they are trying a different take at them. A Twitter comment on that post might explain it.
I doubt that!
Well that looks like a good way to ruin rescue rangers. What the hell?!
I like tress MacNeille and Corey Burton as Chip and dale the most. Honestly John Milaney and Andy samberg voices are so ordinary boring for all of us!
This looks like a few too many attempts at in-jokes at the expense of a proper story.
