Chip and Dale Reunite in First Trailer for ‘Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers’ Movie Coming to Disney+ May 20

Disney+ has released the first trailer for the new “Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers” movie, streaming May 20, 2022.

The movie combines several different animation styles with live-action, similar to “Who Framed Roger Rabbit?” In addition to the original Rescue Rangers, there are also cameo appearances by the Three Little Pigs, Roger Rabbit, Scrooge McDuck, Aladdin on the Magic Carpet, and several My Little Pony characters. The end of the trailer pokes fun at Tom Hooper’s “Cats” film and mo-cap films by Robert Zemeckis.

  1. They weren’t kidding about it being retro, as for the voices, someone did theorize that they decided to take a new direction with them, with the voices here being the real voices in the films world. Also it’s interesting that they are going all out with the animation here, actually using multiple styles at once. Plus it seems they by got permission by Hasbro to use My Little Pony characters for the film. Do I smell future Crossover here.
