Merchandise Roundup 3/8/22: ‘Turning Red’ Merchandise, ‘Encanto’ Magnets, Light-Up Baby Groot Plush, and More
Welcome to the merchandise roundup for March 8, 2022! Each new day brings new merchandise to Walt Disney World, and we know you don’t want to miss a thing, so we gather new releases here. This week we visited Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney Springs, and a few resorts; let’s look at our discoveries.
Minnie Bucket Hat – $34.99
We found this bucket hat in Legends of Hollywood at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
It has an all-over pattern of Minnie with pink, yellow, and blue flowers.
The flowers each have hidden Mickeys in the center.
“Turning Red” Youth Tee – $19.99
This tee says “Pandamonium!” and features “Turning Red” drawings in yellow and orange.
The back of the tee is plain.
“Turning Red” Youth Tee – $24.99
This tee is tie-dye blue and white.
In her red panda form, Mei Lee is pictured at the center, with various words and 90s tech around her.
The edge of the shirt is puckered.
These “Turning Red” tees were in Legends of Hollywood at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Light-Up Groot Christmas Plush – $24.99
This new Groot plush was also in Legends of Hollywood.
Groot has a Christmas light motif and a festive red bow around the pot.
He lights up when you press the on/off button under his head.
He comes with an attached felt gift tag.
He even has a fake plug.
The green cord is printed on Groot, while the lightbulbs are stitched-on patches in various colors.
Best Disney Dad Ornament – $22.99
We found a new ornament in Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe at Magic Kingdom.
The ornament features Mickey Mouse standing in front of a large trophy that reads “Best Disney Dad.”
The back of the trophy is plain golden.
“Encanto” Sister Goals Magnet – $14.99
These new “Encanto” magnets were in Frontier Trading Post at Magic Kingdom.
The “Sister Goals” magnet features Luisa, Isabela, and Mirabel surrounded by flowers and butterflies.
“Encanto” Bruno Magnet – $14.99
The Bruno Magnet says, “We don’t talk about Bruno,” showing a hesitant-looking Bruno with rats on his shoulder.
“Turning Red” Pin – $19.99
This limited release pin shows Mei as a red panda taking her best friends for a ride.
We saw this one in Frontier Trading Post at Magic Kingdom.
“Where to Next?” Spinner Pin – $12.99
We found this fun pin in the Creations Shop at EPCOT.
Can’t decide which land to head to next? Just spin Mickey’s finger and see where it lands!
No matter what color you land on, you’re heading in the right direction for fun.
“Turning Red” Plush Pillow & Blanket $34.99
This Mei Pillow contains a blanket inside.
She even has a carrying handle, making this an excellent choice for travel.
The outer pillow is soft and fluffy.
This zipper contains the blanket.
The blanket features Mei in various poses as both a human and a red panda.
We found this plush in Fulton’s General Store at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside.
“Turning Red” Slippers – $19.99
These slippers feature Mei as a red panda.
The soft, furry slippers will keep your feet warm.
Treads on the bottom minimize the risk of slipping.
We found these at Mickey’s of Hollywood in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Cinderella Journal – $34.99
Cinderella’s mice friends have embroidered this journal!
The cover image is partially printed and partially sewn on.
A gold-colored tassel marks your page.
The paper is lined, with Jaq and Gus at the bottom of the pages.
This journal and the one below were both in the Emporium at Magic Kingdom.
The Frog Prince Journal – $34.99
Tiana’s mom Eudora reads “The Frog Prince” to Tiana and Charlotte at the beginning of “The Princess and the Frog.”
The Frog Prince journal comes in green with gold writing and accents.

This journal has lines as well.
The back has a simple, gold border.
Minnie Ball Cap – $27.99
This baseball cap has Minnie’s face surrounded by brightly colored flowers.
The flowers have a paint splash-style look to them.
Minnie’s bow also has imperfect circles reminiscent of paint splatters.
We found this cap in the Emporium.
The cap has an adjustable snap closure.
“Happy Birthday” Ornament – $26.99
This pink sketchbook Ornament features Minnie and Mickey Mouse next to a giant birthday cake.
The glass globe says “Happy Birthday” in colorful, glittery letters.
Mickey dons a party hat.
And Minnie wears glitter shoes. We found this ornament at Disney’s Days of Christmas store at Disney Springs
“Mary Poppins” Ornament – $22.99
This ornament looks like Mary’s iconic bag and umbrella from the 1964 hit film “Mary Poppins.”
We spotted this ornament at Disney’s Days of Christmas store at Disney Springs.
Aladdin Pop Art Mug – 14.99
This mug has a pop-art style montage of scenes from Aladdin.
Aladdin and Jasmine ride on the Magic Carpet underneath the phrase, “Trust me?”
This mug can’t go in the dishwasher or microwave.
Magically reveal hidden art by adding hot liquid!
The inside of the mug is plain light blue. We found this mug at World of Disney at Disney Springs.
Spider-Man Mug – $19.99
The Spider-Man mug features the updated version of the Spider-Man logo seen in the newer films.
The simple design is red, gold and black.
The interior of the mug is red.
This mug, found at World of Disney at Disney Springs, is dishwasher and microwave safe!
Eiffel Tower Marie Mug – $19.99
This uniquely shaped mug has an image of the Eiffel Tower with Marie’s pink bow tied around the top.
The other side shows Marie playing with a ball of yarn under the word “Bonjour.”
This mug can go in the microwave or dishwasher.
Minnie Mouse Layered Party Dress – $44.99
This white double-layered dress has all-over Minnie icons on a sheer ruffled mesh overlay topping a strappy slip.
The dress has puff sleeves.
It has a button closure at the back neckline. We found this at World of Disney at Disney Springs.
“Turning Red” Sweatshirt – $54.99
This grey crewneck sweatshirt features yellow and orange embroidered letters.
The writing says, “I accept all labels.”
The sleeve has several words and phrases down the sleeve, such as “Whatever” and “Party Animal.”
The back of the sweatshirt is plain grey. We spotted this at DisneyStyle at Disney Springs.
“Turning Red” Mei Pillow – $29.99
This “Turning Red” Mei pillow is actually pink!
Mei looks so cute as a red panda.
The pillow is soft with embroidered facial features.
