Journey of Water Inspired by “Moana” will be a new walkthrough attraction in EPCOT including interactive water features. Several structures have already been built for the attraction in World Nature and it seems more will be erected soon.

Recently, a metal frame was added to one structure, extending out towards the World Nature neighborhood.

This structure is one of many in this clustered area, where several crew members were working today. Trenches have been dug throughout the site to install piping for the water features.

Red net fencing surrounds one hole in the ground to keep workers safe.

Some wood and rebar platforms have been constructed next to the concrete wall on the right.

Teal green poles were being used near the long curved wall on the left.

Several small concrete blocks have been in front of this wall for a while now.

Beyond this cluster is where we saw dirt being leveled out last month.

It looks like the base of another structure has been outlined with short wood walls.

If this is for one structure, it will be the biggest so far.

Beyond that is a large trench.

Pipes and concrete can be seen just beyond the construction walls.

Behind a wall of dirt and corrugated metal is another structure that has been expanded.

There is a concrete rectangle on the right and a concrete base with wood and metal walls attached on the left. Presumably, they will be fully enclosed together.

Wooden stairs lead down into the structure.

In the background, the attraction’s first concrete structure has a black stripe along the bottom of it and stairs leading into its doorway.

A mountain of dirt piles is in the background of the photos as the area continues to be excavated.

There is no opening date announced for Journey of Water Inspired by “Moana.”
