Magic Kingdom Closing at 4:30 on May 3 and 15 for Cast Member Service Celebration

Magic Kingdom will be closing early at 4:30 p.m. on May 3 and May 15, 2022, for the delayed Cast Member service celebrations.

The parties are for Cast Members celebrating service milestones (such as 20 years, 30 years, etc.) in 2020 and 2021. They were originally scheduled for January of this year but were delayed due to weather.

“Disney Enchantment” will not be performed on these days.

  1. What if you have dining reservations made 60 days ago? How last minute can they get on this? Seems like Disney forgot without the guests the Cast Members don’t have a job!

  2. They should give all park ticket holders a prorated discount for those two days, as they are losing many hours of park experience time. But, I’m sure Disney won’t. I’d be super ticked if I was on vacation and planned a day at the MK on 5/3.

  3. We have tickets for the 15th. Found out today about short hours. Other days we are there are sold out! Paid for full day, now getting half. How does that work? #notthe happiestplaceonearth

  4. We have the MK scheduled for the 15th and can’t change it obviously because the other days are sold out at MK. If we had known they were closing at 4:30 we would have scheduled a different park that day. Since it will be our only day there we had to add the Park Hopper option to our base pass so we can see the fireworks at MK. I don’t mind these events but they should have planned them more in advance so we can see the correct operating hours when making reservations.
