REVIEW: Lightsaber Churros Strike Back at Disney’s Hollywood Studios for May the 4th

We’re celebrating May the 4th at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and there are a plethora of snacks around the park, including Lightsaber Churros! We tried the two churros they had available (red and blue) so you won’t have to.

They’re cute and make for great photos, but this is where the fun begins and ends.

We didn’t have the chocolate sauce, but we know from past experiences that it still wouldn’t have been enough to save these sad, sad churros.

While the two colors taste the same (i.e. bad), we found that the blue flavor did have a hint of more cinnamon in it.

The first bite was extra hard and rubbery, and things didn’t improve as we went through the churro. They’re tasteless, endlessly chewy, and taste extremely stale. That being said, save your money and try out any one of the other treats. These are only around for May 4 & 5.

  1. We got one at Tokyo’s park a few years back and it was a faint blueish gray color, not bright blue like these, and tasted like a regular churro.
