Menu Changes Come to Coral Reef Restaurant EPCOT, Lobster Bisque Removed After 36 Years

Coral Reef Restaurant is making some huge menu changes this year. The biggest difference is the removal of Lobster Bisque from the menu, which we have reviewed here. The Lobster Bisque has been around for 36 years, since the opening of Coral Reef Restaurant in EPCOT.

  1. Inflation is the reason for getting rid of high priced menu items that cost a lot. Cost of goods was over 60% on that item. Losing money.

  2. Thanks for updating the menu. Glad I saw this as I have an upcoming reservation here and with the changes they took away what my family eats. Now to look for something else.

    • I was on the opening crew and there for about 5 years an I don’t remember the lobster bisque on the menu. I remember we had New England and Manhattan clam chowder though. Circa 1985 through 1990.

  3. I would walk around to the pavilions any day over these places! They are still not losing money. Maybe not making as much if anything.
