Gideon’s Bakehouse is celebrating Pride Month again this year at Disney Springs. Their Rainbow Crunch Cake, which has been available on Fridays since February, will be available every day this month. Their limited edition June cookie, White Chocolate Caramel Macadamia Nut, has also returned.
Gideon’s Bakehouse also has some special pride month, including a rainbow gargoyle pin and T-shirt.
The collectible June menu is black featuring the rainbow gargoyle at the center. The background is patterned all over with rainbow bats.
The menu is erroneously labeled as Pride 2021, not 2022. Gideon’s wrote in their Instagram post, “yes, there’s a typo, so please don’t point it out.”
White Chocolate Caramel Macadamia Nut Cookie – $6
Gideon’s Bakehouse cookies are famous for being absolutely covered in chocolate chips, and this cookie is no exception. White chocolate chips cover the top and fill the inside of this sweet treat. Far from being overwhelming, the abundance of white chocolate made a perfect sweet balance to the salty macadamia nuts and caramel.
The cookie is one of the better monthly creations. We will definitely be back to Gideon’s this month for another white chocolate caramel macadamia nut cookie.
Rainbow Crunch Cake – $10
This three-layer vanilla confetti cake is covered with a rainbow of marshmallow buttercream. Those with a serious sweet tooth will enjoy this, as both the cake and frosting are incredibly sweet.
Gideon’s has filled the slice with crunchy rainbow crumbs, which provided a nice texture contrast to the soft, moist cake and smooth frosting.
Overall, the rainbow crunch cake was delicious. If you’re a fan of all things sweet, we definitely recommend this colorful confection.
