As we reported, Sunshine Seasons at EPCOT is now serving a roast beef sandwich, veggie sandwich, and fish taco. We visited The Land Pavilion to check out these new dishes.
Sunshine Seasons is on the lower floor of The Land Pavilion, next to Soarin’ Around the World.
The new items were not yet on the posted menu in the pavilion, but we were still able to order them. They are listed on the Walt Disney World website.
Each entrée comes with a side. You can choose from pasta salad, Cheetos, Doritos, or Lay’s potato chips.
But we’re not here to talk about sides — we’re here to talk about these sandwiches and this taco! Let’s dig in.
Spicy Fish Taco – $12.29
With Fire-roasted Corn Salsa, Creamy Jalapeño-Piri Piri Sauce, and Radish served with Plantain Chips
This open taco has two tilapia in each serving.
The tilapia are a little too fishy, but not terrible, and this is a decent dish overall.
The salsa and jalapeño add a good amount of kick. The flour tortilla holds up well.
This would’ve benefited from a little bit of crunch, maybe from cabbage or coleslaw on top.
Still, it’s not bad and we would probably get it again. That bring said, the old fish tacos of a few years back are still sorely missed.
Mediterranean Vegetable Sandwich – $9.99
Roasted Red Pepper, Red Onion, Tomato, Arugula, Hummus, and Balsamic Vinaigrette on Herbed Focaccia served with Potato Chips (Plant-based)
This wasn’t bad, but it was a little boring. It just tastes like herb ciabatta bread thrown together with some vegetables and a bit of hummus.
It’s nice to have a fresh option, and we would probably still pick this over something fried, but we wish there were more vegetables.
Again, it’s not a terrible option, but we were hoping for something more.
Roast Beef Sandwich – $10.99
Chilled Roast Beef, Chimichurri Aïoli, Cheddar, Arugula, and Red Onion on a Flour-topped Kaiser Roll served with Potato Chips
This is our favorite of the new dishes.
The Kaiser roll was soft and fresh.
It had a great portion of meat.
That said, we wish there was a bit more cheese, maybe even melted.
The arugula added a peppery taste.
We would definitely return for this sandwich.
Overall
These are all decent options, though none are quite perfect. We recommend the roast beef sandwich, but if you’re vegetarian, the Mediterranean sandwich will work just fine and we prefer it to the jackfruit gyro they had before. That being said, Sunshine Seasons isn’t what it used to be and you’re better off eating at Connections if you want American cuisine at EPCOT.

My family ate there today and unfortunately I tried the Tuna Poke and Noodles with Spicy Mayo Salad. It was awful. The tuna had no flavor, the spicy mayo was awful, and since it’s considered a salad the noodles were cold they were gross also. This was the worst meal I have ever had at Disney.
