Hello there! Today we are back at Disney’s Hollywood Studios for the reopening of the Star Wars Launch Bay. We’re also planning on park hopping to EPCOT to try another item from Food and Wine Festival.
The Star Wars Launch Bay has officially reopened. We met Darth Vader and Chewbacca during the soft opening last week, but we had to come back to meet BB-8.
Surprisingly for the first day back the wait times were pretty low. It was a 20 minute wait to meet BB-8 and we didn’t wait more than 5 minutes.
We’re so happy this meet and greet is back. There were no PhotoPass photographers inside to take photos, but Cast Members were offering to take photos with guests’ phones or cameras. You can see more of our meet and greet with BB-8 here.
Hang on, here we go! The wait times were high today for most rides. Slinky Dog Dash was a 90 minute wait when we walked by.
In Droid Depot, we spotted this BB Series Builder Magnet.
Markings started showing up all over Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. These symbols are apart of the Batuu Bounty Hunters MagicBand + game coming soon.
There were 12 doors tagged with the Bounty Hunters Guild symbol. We can’t wait for this to open later this year!
In Tatooine Traders there was a cute Grogu pin set. One of the pins features R2-D2.
In Keystone Clothiers, a Star Wars Action Figure hat has arrived.
It’s time to park hop over to EPCOT to check out the Food and Wine Festival.
We’re back at the festival to try a cocktail. It’s the perfect day for a drink while walking around the World Showcase.
This drink is the Salty Dog Cocktail located at The Fry Basket Marketplace. This Marketplace has been a big hit this year. You can find our reviews on the food items here. The cocktail comes with Boyd & Blair vodka with grapefruit juice, ginger, simple syrup, and lime with a salted rim. This was a great drink which was nice and refreshing on a hot day. We definitely recommend trying it on your visit to the Food and Wine Festival.
Over at Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, a dedication plaque has been added to the courtyard.
All the prizes for Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak Scavenger Hunt are still available. This year’s prizes are cups featuring Tiana, Figment, Remy and Mickey.
These EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival Ears for 2022 are also still available. We found this in the Port of Entry shop.
Thanks for following along with our day.
