The “Back to the Future” Loungefly collection has arrived at Universal Studios Hollywood. This collection includes a mini backpack, handbag, and wallet — though the wallet was not on display and we were not allowed to handle items we were not purchasing. We’ve included photos of the wallet from Universal Orlando Resort.
“Back to the Future” Loungefly Mini Backpack – $80
The backpack is mostly black. The front pocket resembles the front of the DeLorean time machine.
Above the time machine is the car’s speedometer combined with a clock. The outer circle has speeds, while the inner circle has Roman numerals. The hand of the speedometer/clock can be moved. The clocktower is in the background.
The orange elements of the bag actually glow under UV light.
The straps and lining of the zippers are solid red.
Flames wrap around the sides of the bag to the back, where the “outatime” license plate is pictured.
Here’s a better look at the back from Florida.
The zipper pull of the front pocket is the flux capacitor.
“Back to the Future” Loungefly Purse – $79
The purse has red handles. On one side is the display of destination time, present time, and last time departed from inside the time machine.
Above, it has a display reading 88 MPH. The dates are November 5, 1955 (both destination and departed) and October 26, 1985 (present time).
It includes a detachable chain strap.
On the back are a red Loungefly plaque and an image of the DeLorean with flames in lines behind its wheels. Here’s a better look:
“Back to the Future” Loungefly Wallet – $55
The wallet says “Powered by Flux Capacitor” on one side.
The flux capacitor is pictured on the other side, with warnings to “disconnect capacitor drive before opening” and “shield eyes from light.”
The inside of the wallet is red, with several card slots and one clear ID slot. The fabric lining is patterned with the flux capacitor and a radioactive warning symbol.
These were all in the Studio Store at Universal Studios Hollywood.
