Bonjour from EPCOT! We’re planning on taking a ride on the monorail to see if we can find any construction updates from EPCOT. We’re also planning on doing some shopping as well as trying some princess-themed snacks for World Princess Week. Let’s get started.
While we were riding the EPCOT monorail we noticed water spraying from the roof of the Imagination! Pavilion. The entire pavilion was closed down due to building technical issues from a broken pipe.
When we left the area the pavilion had reopened but the Journey Into Imagination With Figment attraction was temporarily closed.
We decided to take a stroll around the World Showcase to see what new things we could find.
Our first stop was the France pavilion and we found a lot of new merchandise.
In Plume et Palette in the France Pavilion, the new Lavender Minnie Mouse collection was available. First we found this new lavender floral Minnie Mouse ear headband. This collection was previously available in Disneyland.
A new lavender Minnie Mouse limited edition MagicBand of 2,000 was also available.
There was a beautiful Minnie Mouse Bonjour spirit jersey part of the lavender Minnie Mouse collection. This spirit jersey has an ombre design with pink, white and yellow. The front features Minnie’s head sporting a large lavender bow and the back features Minnie sitting with a bouquet of lavender flowers.
There was also a pin in this collection featuring Minnie Mouse with her lavender bouquet. To match the pin we also found a Minnie Mouse lavender ladies t-shirt.
Finally, a lavender dress was also available to purchase. This purple dress has lavender flowers and little Minnie Mouse head designs all over the dress. There is also a matching youth lavender dress.
There were two new limited release pins in Pin Central in EPCOT. The first pin is part of the Disney Designer Collection. This pin has a hinge that when opened features Rapunzel art designed for Disney by Tetsunosuke Saiki and is a companion to the Rapunzel Disney Ultimate Princess Celebration doll.
Haunted Mansion fans can find this new Annual Passholder exclusive limited release pin in Pin Central. The Haunted Mansion pin features the Hatbox Ghost and the mansion in the background.
We decided to hop over to Disney’s Old Key West Resort to try a princess-themed snack. At Good Foods to Go they have a Snow White Cupcake available only for World Princess Week but we wish it would be available year round.
The Snow White Cupcake consists of vanilla cake with spiced caramel apple filling topped with caramel buttercream, red chocolate dip, and a red bow. The cupcake was moist and went together very well with the spiced caramel apple filling. And to top it all off with a delicious caramel buttercream topping. This cupcake was the fairest of them all. We definitely recommend trying this snack if you are celebrating World Princess Week.
We hope you enjoyed following along with our day!
