Orlando International Airport (MCO) is closing due to Hurricane Ian. The airport will be closed from September 28 through September 30.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a “closed except emergency” order for MCO. The airport will close at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday and will reopen at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, though the schedule is subject to change. They are advising travelers to contact their airlines about canceled or rescheduled travel.
MCO is set to participate in a press briefing at 1 p.m. ET today. Stay tuned for further information.
Orlando Sanford International Airport is also closing starting today at 5 p.m.
