After a sneak peek yesterday and this morning, Disney has fully revealed the upcoming EPCOT 40th anniversary merchandise collection. This merchandise will launch at Creations Shop on October 1, with more items arriving throughout the month. Select items will also be available on shopDisney.com.
Much of the apparel features Figment and the EPCOT pavilion logos. Disney referred to this as the retro collection but the items all feature the current pavilion logos and colors rather than the originals.
The Figment items include tees for kids and adults, a blue pullover fleece, and a jumbo pin.
The sequined Minnie ear headband has a rainbow bow, reminiscent of the now-defunct rainbow tunnel from the Imagination! Pavilion.
A Corkcicle canteen also features the pavilion logos in a honeycomb pattern.
The Loungefly mini backpack is white with an all-over pattern of the multi-colored pavilion logos.
The front pocket is Spaceship Earth-inspired, with an “EPCOT 40” patch.
A white Spirit Jersey features the pavilion logos on the sleeves and “EPCOT 40” on the back, above “Celebrating 40 years of Imagination.”
A woven button-up shirt features a white to rainbow ombre.
Citizen will release a special EPCOT 40 watch.
The EPCOT 40thAnniversary Collection will also include a Spaceship Earth-themed figurine, Figment crossbody bag by Harveys, trading pins, and an Alex and Ani charm bracelet, not pictured here. There will also be a limited-edition EPCOT 40th Anniversary Day Of Collection available on Oct. 1, while supplies last.

Disney: After our disastrous 50th Magic Kingdom anniversary, we KNOW what people want: Nostalgia! So we are giving it to them with these retro deigns! Sure, nothing from Walt’s original vision for the park remains, and Journey Into Imagination is a shell of its former self. But our guests are gullible! They will buy ANYTHING retro without realizing the park ha s lost its glory. So step right up, suckers!!
Oh that’s very interesting…. BUT WHERE IS THE MAGICBAND?!?
This all looks really nice. I hope Figment continues to play a larger role in Epcot because he really does embody that park.
Is it me or should it have all logos on the merch and not just the current pavilions like its the 40th anniversary not just a normal epcot merch thing besides 40 on it it screams epcot merch i seen around 20k times! Sorry to wdwnt its not your fault your just relaying the story but i thought there be a wow factor like in past or vintage stuff.
