Although the 50th Anniversary celebration will conclude at the end of next March, Walt Disney World is still releasing commemorative merchandise to mark the occasion. We found this 50th Anniversary decorative glass Mickey Mouse head, key, and cube for sale at Crystal Arts on Main Street, U.S.A., in the Magic Kingdom.
50th Anniversary Glass Mickey Mouse Head – $65.00
This decorative Mickey Mouse cut glass, which is a new release, can be found at the Crystal Arts shop on Main Street, U.S.A.
The “body” of Mickey’s head is thick cut glass with “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” arching over Cinderella Castle with “50” etched in the center. Beneath the castle is “Walt Disney World.”
Mickey Mouse’s ears are simple, yet elegant clear glass ears. The multi-faceted cuts give the head a diamond-like sparkle. When the light is just right, a rainbow of colors appears around Cinderella Castle.
From this view, we can see how thick this piece actually is. The sides of Mickey’s head have cuts all around, and the back tapers to form the base.
50th Anniversary Decorative Cinderella Castle Glass Cube – $59.00
This etched glass cube features a 3D-esque Cinderella Castle with bursts of fireworks overhead.
“Walt Disney World 50” is engraved at the top of the cube.
50th Anniversary Decorative Mickey Mouse Glass Key – $55.00
This may not be the “official” key to the Magic Kingdom, but this 50th Anniversary Decorative Mickey Mouse Glass Key is the next best thing.
The bow of this glass key has a large Mickey Mouse head sitting on top of a glass “blade.” The cuts of the key are a silhouette of Mickey’s head.
Accenting the bottom of the key is a faceted cut round ball.
On closer inspection, we can see engraved into the head, “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” and “Walt Disney World” framing Cinderella Castle with “50” etched in the center.
