The Haunted Mansion Halloween Display Debuts at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort

The Grand Floridian recently set up a display the dazzle any foolish mortals that happen to come across it. The pastry team at The Grand Floridian is known for their artistry and displays, with their decorated chocolate displays attracting guests year after year. This display is no different, with a gorgeously sculpted hearse and a nearby ode to Constance Hatchaway.

This ode to Constance Hatchaway features edible versions of the items in her attic, as well as the decorated logo with a tie-in to her name, the hatchet at the top.

A silver rose frame holds the story of Constance and her former husbands.

The luggage in the attic is remade out of chocolate, piled with roses and an elegant tea set. Hidden Mickeys are scattered throughout, with many hidden between the roses. A edible stained glass lamp and recreation of Constance’s wedding cake are perched on stacks of luggage.

At the top of the lamp, the logo for The Haunted Mansion is perched, with a hatchet stuck through the top, a reference to Constance and her malicious true nature.

Nearby, a model of the hearse featured outside of the attraction is adorned with candles and roses.

Wheels show off a skull and crossbones motif. The trim and outer sections of the hearse have an impressive level of detail, with ornate molding and a wicker texture added to the edible display.

Roses and foliage are placed around the hearse, with the windows revealing more inside. Many of the roses display hidden Mickeys, and the top of the hearse holds a connection to ‘Hocus Pocus.’ The candles have black flames, making it a nice reference to the recently released ‘Hocus Pocus 2’ and the Black Flame Candle.
