A reader at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground sent us a letter Disney sent to all campers informing them that “guests staying at the campsites, either in a tent or RV, will be required to depart the Resort by 3:00 p.m.” today.
Disney stated that they will assist guests in helping them make arrangements to move. Disney asked guests to call (407) 939-7427 for help in booking alternative accommodations for tonight at another Disney Resort hotel. At this time, Disney is only expecting the campsite to be closed to guests for one evening.
Disney also said that guests can choose to either “temporarily park” their RVs at their new Disney Resort hotel or leave their “belongings” at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground until they return.
Guests may also have the option of cutting their vacation short. If so, Disney asks them to visit the front desk and check out no later than 3:00 p.m. today.
Disney has instructed guests to check DisneyWorld.com/weather for the latest updates. The website was last updated on November 8, 2022, at 8:30 PM. and this information has yet to appear.
Here is the full letter:
