REVIEW: New 50th Anniversary Enchanted Tiki Room ‘Pierre Mon Ami Float’ Available at Magic Kingdom

DOLE Whips are oft cited as guests’ number one favorite treat at Walt Disney World, even more than Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bars and Turkey Legs. Recently, we were in the Magic Kingdom, and over at the Aloha Isle, we saw a new Enchanted Tiki Room-themed Pierre Mon Ami Float joining the already popular offerings.

As with the other floats available, the Pierre Mon Ami Float is a generous serving of vanilla soft serve and DOLE pineapple juice. The soft serve swirls high above the rim of the cup.

The chocolate feather is made from white chocolate and colored red. It tastes like your typical piece of chocolate decoration.

Helped by the tartness of the pineapple juice, this is not an overly sweet treat. It’s the perfect blueberry flavor mixed with a vanilla soft serve.

We wish the blueberry swirl would be available separately — t’s that good! However, the blueberry and vanilla pair very well with the pineapple juice.

This is a great DOLE Whip. It is light and refreshing anytime, but especially on a hot day.

This is a great addition to the Aloha Isle menu, and we will definitely be back for another, and another, and another.

The Pierre Mon Ami Float is the latest in an ever-changing 50th anniversary menu at the Magic Kingdom. It replaces the Crooning Flower Float. All of the 50th treats at Aloha Isle have been themed to the nearby Enchanted Tiki Room.
