D23 has revealed their 2023 Gold Member collector set, which is inspired by the 100th anniversary of The Walt Disney Company.
The annual collector set is available to new and renewing D23 Gold Members beginning January 1, 2023.
D23 Gold Members will receive a platinum Mickey Mouse “Leader of the Club” Milestone Statue designed by James Fauntleroy. It will begin shipping in spring 2023.
For the first time, D23 is offering Gold Members a choice of membership card designs. The four designs are inspired by Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, and Marvel. All four designs are platinum and sparkly, with white lines and character silhouettes.
The Disney design features Tiana, Baymax, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Stitch, Tinker Bell, Mirabel Madrigal, Maleficent, and Mickey Mouse.
The Pixar card features Joy, Buzz Lightyear, WALL-E, Miguel Rivera, Meilin Lee, Kevin, Remy, and Mike Wazowski.
For “Star Wars” fans, this card showcases Rey Skywalker, BB-8, Darth Vader, C-3P0, Chewbacca, Boba Fett, Ahsoka Tano, and Grogu.
Finally, the Marvel design has the silhouettes of Captain Marvel, Loki, Groot, The Wasp, Iron Man, Thor, and Black Panther.
Members must choose their preferred design at least two days before their plan renewal date. Members who don’t select a design in time will receive the Disney-themed card.
D23 Gold Membership cards and certificates will ship 2-4 weeks after enrollment or renewal.

I like that D23 will get cards but DVC cards have been removed and gone virtual. 😡
While that is a very cool statue, I will miss the variety of items normally included. Especially pins, as I was expecting some 100th anniversary pins in the set. The D23 website does say the statue is 10 inches tall so it’s a pretty big item.
