Returning for its second year at the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts is The Craftsman’s Courtyard. This food studio has revamped its menu this year, with only one item returning and adopting some popular dishes from other food studios, creating almost an entirely new menu for 2023.

Beef Wellington – $8.50

Served with Mushroom Duxelles, Prosciutto, and Puff Pastry with Red Wine Demi-Glace and Baby Vegetables

This was cooked to a nice medium temperature. The red wine demi-glace was tasty and helped keep the beef from drying out. We didn’t get or see the prosciutto on the plate. Overall, it was a yummy dish.

The Beef Wellington is a new addition to the menu of The Craftsman’s Courtyard, but this dish was served at The Artist’s Table during last year’s offerings.

Cast Iron-Roasted P.E.I. Mussels – $7.50

Served with Sautéed Tomatoes, Garlic, and Fresh Herbs

The P.E.I. Mussels that we were served seemed to be very undercooked, as many of the shells weren’t open. The mussels that had opened up were very nice. The dish doesn’t taste very fishy, and the mussels soak up the tomato flavor. The garlic toast served with this offering was very crispy and has a strong garlic taste.

*NEW* BrewDog Jet Black Heart Nitro Oatmeal Stout, Columbus, OH (7.0% ABV) – $5.50 for 6 oz., $9.50 for 12 oz.

From BrewDog: “Jet Black Heart is back; back in black. With an amped up 7% ABV, this Nitro Oatmeal Stout is decadent to the core and loaded with heaps of oatmeal, delivering a red carpet of silky opulence. It’s overflowing with notes of bitter cacao, roasted coffee, and dark berry fruits. It’ll plunge you into the deep, dark, abyss.”

Cold Fashion Coffee Cocktail – $11

Decadent Delights

We enjoy coffee-based cocktails quite a bit, so this was also right up our alley. It’s strong but smooth, with a hint of citrus. We suspect we’ll find enough warm days to have a few of these over the next month.

The Cold Fashion Coffee Cocktail was seen at the festival in 2022, previously being served at The Donut Box.
