BREAKING: Reedy Creek Improvement District Will NOT Be Dissolved on June 1

The new bill confirms that the Reedy Creek Improvement District will not be dissolved on June 1 as previously announced. Instead, it will be re-named and re-structured. The extent of the changes has yet to be explored.

The bill states that “Notwithstanding s. 189.0311(2), Florida Statutes, the Reedy Creek Improvement District is not dissolved as of June 1, 2023, but continues in full force and effect under its new name.”
