Two new limited release Oswald the Lucky Rabbit pins have arrived at Walt Disney World as part of the new Disney100 Oswald collection.
We found these in The Darkroom at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Limited Release Oswald the Lucky Rabbit Pin – $17.99
This pin features Oswald on a galloping horse, with “Oswald the Lucky Rabbit” across the bottom.
Limited Release Oswald & Ortensia Pin – $17.99
Oswald is presenting Ortensia the cat with a white flower on this pin. The lettering across the top and bottom reads in full “Oswald the Lucky Rabbit featuring Ortensia.” Music notes float around the couple.
Most of the Disney100 Oswald collection is also available on shopDisney. The rabbit is almost as old as The Walt Disney Company, having debuted in the 1927 short “Trolley Troubles.” Disney created 26 Oswald short films in 1927 and 1928, before losing creative control of the character. In 2006, CEO Bob Iger made a deal with NBCUniversal to regain Oswald. Last year, Disney debuted their first Oswald short film in 95 years.
