The Upload Conduit of Magic Kingdom’s newest roller coaster, TRON Lightcycle / Run, showcases the battle between Team Orange and Team Blue in a spectacular light display visible across Tomorrowland, and now it’s fully online and operational for the first time as Cast Member Previews continue!
Visible during a ride along the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover, the light panels of TRON Lightcycle / Run’s canopy can be seen shining in unison, radiating the entire surface in a vibrant blue.
Team Orange also takes over the Upload Conduit, illuminating in the night sky near the Tomorrowland Speedway.
A closer look of the canopy at night shows a lightcycle ride vehicle passing through the Grid blanketed in a sea of blue. Glowing hexagons follow along the path of the racing lightcycles. The vehicle and conduit lit up in unison are a definite indicator of just how popular this attraction is going to be at night.
As the colors transition back and forth a gradient of cool blue hues transform to warm orange. The empty queue seen below the attraction is sure to be filled on the ride’s official opening day, April 4 and for years beyond.
The canopy can be seen mid-transformation as guests take to other Tomorrowland attractions for a closer look at TRON Lightcycle / Run at night.
The attraction’s main signage at the front of the queue looks just as good at night, contrasting against the dark sky and the light from the ride itself. White light panels guide guests through the queue, as well. Although the attraction is still a wildly fun adventure during the day, the night experience looks even more fantastic.
TRON Lightcycle / Run looks remarkable across Tomorrowland at all times of the day, but there’s no question that this attraction, which is so dependent on light, truly shines at night. Let us know if you agree in the comments below.
