Dole Whip Coming Soon to Local Grocery Stores Nationwide

Since 1984, guests have been lining up at Disney Parks for one of the most popular delicacies — the Dole Whip. Now, this signature Disney Parks treat will soon be available in local grocery store freezer aisles. No Park Reservations required.

Dole Whip is a soft-serve, dairy-free dessert that debuted at the Magic Kingdom in 1984. At the time, the original treat was the singular flavor “Dole Pineapple Whip” and was introduced as part of Dole’s sponsorship of the Enchanted Tiki Room. When guests couldn’t get enough, the treat was introduced to guests at Disneyland in 1986. Nearly forty years later, this melt-resistant tropical treat remains as popular as ever, with new flavors introduced across many annual Disney Parks festivals.

According to a recent press release from Dole Packaged Foods, LLC, you’ll be able to grab Dole Whip at your local grocery store later this year. The press release divulged that three flavors of Dole Whip will be available in your local frozen foods section, including the original pineapple alongside the popular mango and strawberry flavors.

The launch of Dole Whip is part of a larger rollout from the company, which is set to debut ten other snacks and beverages this year. You can read Dole’s full press release for more information on their other product launches set for 2023.

  1. It won’t be the same coming from a grocery store. Just another case of a Disney Parks exclusive being pushed out nationwide so we can lose more of that Disney magic.
