The 2023 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is underway, and if food’s on your mind to start the day, head over to La Isla Fresca, where breakfast is being served daily until 10:30 a.m.

*NEW* Breakfast Empanada with Ham, Egg, and Cheese – $6.75
While it looks like something you might get at 7-Eleven, it’s above gas station quality.
The exterior seemed fresh with flaky, buttery pastry, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the cheese overpowers everything, and the egg is flavorless.
The ham provides a little saltiness, but the over-processed cheese just dominates the flavor profile.
We wouldn’t get this again, but if you’re looking for an easy breakfast to eat on your trip around World Showcase, this might offer a solution.
Tropical Breeze: Lemonade, Grapefruit, and Simple Syrup (Non-Alcoholic) – $4.50
This is both Incredibly tart and very sweet. Overall, it tastes as it’s described on the menu. It starts off as a frozen drink, which is good for the current Florida heat. This is solid, refreshing non-alcoholic drink for the spring and summer weather.
Dulce de Leche Cocoa Coffee – $5.00
This tastes like a caffè mocha, specifically, like the mocha pod you might put in a coffee machine at home. It’s nothing special, but not bad. It’s good if you like this sort of thing, but don’t run all the way to World Showcase for it.
Tropical Breeze with Don Q LÃmon Rum ($14/bottle) – $11.00
You can really taste the rum in this, which isn’t always common. The rum definitely changes the flavor profile of the drink, and cuts the lemonade a lot more than the non-alcoholic version, making the grapefruit taste more prevalent.

The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival will be running from March 1 to July 5, 2023.
