Shanghai Disney Resort released a new teaser video of red panda Meilin Lee from “Turning Red,” who is now appearing for a character meet and greet in the park.

The meet and greet will be available until May 31 as part of limited-time spring offerings. This is Mei’s first appearance in any Disney park.
Pixar’s “Turning Red,” about a Chinese Canadian girl who turns into a red panda, was released in 2022 on Disney+. It was nominated for best animated feature at the Academy Awards and the Golden Globes.
