If you’re looking for another way to celebrate Disney’s 100th Anniversary, head over to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and grab your very own Disney100 light up balloon.
Disney100 Light Up Balloon – $20
With Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary celebration officially ending yesterday, we saw a lot of new Disney100 items make their way over to Walt Disney World today.
One of the new items that caught our eye is the Disney100 Light-Up Balloon. We first spotted balloons with a similar design earlier this year in Disneyland, but this is the first time we’ve seen them in Walt Disney World.
The Disney100 light up balloon inside the clear globe is a very light silver color. The outside of the balloon features Minnie Mouse and Mickey Mouse dressed in their platinum 100th anniversary outfits inside of the 00s on the “100”. The balloon reads “Disney 100” and features the Walt Disney World logo and its slogan: “The Most Magical Place on Earth.”
Minnie & Mickey are dressed in their best to celebrate Disney’s 100th Anniversary. The color scheme for the celebration is purple and platinum.
We found it first at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, but it’s also available at Magic Kingdom.
On the back of the balloon, it features Mickey & his pals Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Daisy, Donald, and Chip ‘n’ Dale. They are all dressed up, ready to celebrate, in their 100th anniversary outfits. In the background, you can see a “platinum” outline of Cinderella Castle, along with Tinkerbell in her 100th anniversary outfit and some fireworks.
Also featured on the back of the balloon, is the “100 Years of Wonder” logo. The balloons are $20 and light up with flashing colors when tapped.

100 Years of Wonder at Walt Disney World
Walt Disney World announced monthly themes to celebrate the 100th anniversary of The Walt Disney Company over the next several months. April celebrates Earth Day, the 25th anniversary of Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney’s conservation efforts. Moana will have a meet and greet in Animal Kingdom beginning on Earth Day, April 22.
As previously announced, Disney100 will be celebrated at EPCOT with Mickey and Minnie in their platinum outfits and a platinum Mickey sculpture. A new Spectacle of Light show will debut on Spaceship Earth and, in late 2023, a new nighttime spectacular will premiere to replace “Harmonious.” Journey of Water, CommuniCore Hall, World Celebration Garden, and Dreamers Point are all scheduled to open in late 2023 at EPCOT.
Mirabel will have a meet and greet at Magic Kingdom beginning “this fall” in the Fairytale Garden. She will be replacing Merida, and the area will be redesigned to look like the Casita Madrigal.
