A Disney “100 Years of Wonder” display sign has been added to Creations Shop at EPCOT.
100 Years of Wonder Display Sign at Creations Shop
Now that the Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary celebrations have come to an end, the Disney100 celebrations are in full swing.
We have been spotting Disney100 decor everywhere at EPCOT, from medallions to merchandise, and displays.
EPCOT was chosen to host the Disney 100 Celebrations at Walt Disney World and will be debuting a new nighttime spectacular for the occasion.
This new “100 Years of Wonder” display sign has been added to Creations Shop. As you can see, it is surrounded by merchandise from Disney’s 100th Anniversary.
The sign is platinum and has a purple light shining on it. Purple and platinum are the official colors of Disney’s 100th Anniversary celebration.
The display wall that the sign is placed on features two geodesic collage banners with some of our favorite characters on either side of it. It also features plenty of popular Disney100 merchandise, including the platinum Mickey & friends Disney100 Minnie ears, the platinum Mickey & friends Disney100 Loungefly, and various other Disney100 shirts.

Disney’s 100th Anniversary Celebration Monthly Themes
Walt Disney World has announced monthly themes for their own version of the 100th anniversary celebration.
According to the Disney Rewards site, “Monthly spotlights on some Disney favorite franchises like Pixar, Mickey & Friends, and Disney Princess will help Guests fully enjoy and immerse themselves in the many Disney stories they love.”
“Guests will see and can celebrate these stories and lovable Characters in existing experiences such as Character caravans, parades, photo opportunities, merchandise, attractions, experiences, and more. In addition, the Disney Resort Hotels will offer movies under the stars and poolside parties with themed activities for more ways to celebrate these stories.”
April
The celebrations will begin at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in April for Earth Day and the 25th anniversary of the park, spotlighting Disney’s conservation efforts. Moana will have a meet and greet in Animal Kingdom beginning on Earth Day, April 22.
May
To coincide with May the 4th, the next month will focus on “Star Wars.” Disney already announced a 30% discount on Galactic Starcruiser for Annual Passholders.
June
June will celebrate Pixar characters. Read our review of Roundup Rodeo BBQ, which just opened in Toy Story Land.
July
Mickey, Minnie, and their friends will provide “swell fun” for guests in July.
August
Disney Princesses and “Frozen” characters will “take the throne” in August.
September
And September will be all about superheroes.
More Disney100
As previously announced, Disney100 will be celebrated at EPCOT with Mickey and Minnie in their platinum outfits and a platinum Mickey sculpture. A new Spectacle of Light show will debut on Spaceship Earth and, in late 2023, a new nighttime spectacular will premiere to replace “Harmonious.” Journey of Water, CommuniCore Hall, World Celebration Garden, and Dreamers Point are all scheduled to open in late 2023 at EPCOT.
Mirabel will have a meet and greet at Magic Kingdom beginning “this fall” in the Fairytale Garden. She will be replacing Merida, and the area will be redesigned to look like the Casita Madrigal.
The 100 Years of Wonder celebration is in full swing at Disneyland Resort, where guests can enjoy “Wondrous Journeys” at Disneyland and “World of Color – ONE” at Disney California Adventure. The platinum Mickey sculpture at EPCOT will presumably be the same as the one at Disneyland, which had to be fixed because the Walt Disney quote on the base was incorrect. Disneyland also has a platinum Minnie statue.
