A rare meet and greet opportunity featuring Terk and Jane from “Tarzan” has popped up today at Disney’s Animal Kingdom 25th Anniversary Earth Day Celebration.
Terk and Jane from “Tarzan” Meet & Greet
Many unique characters have made appearances at Disney’s Animal Kingdom as festivities for Earth Day and the park’s 25th anniversary began. Tinker Bell, Fawn, King Louie, and Baloo were out yesterday. According to Cast Members, the characters will change all week as part of the celebration.
Today, we spotted Terk and Jane from the Disney animated classic “Tarzan.” Terk is Tarzan’s best friend, and Jane is an ethnologist who travels to Africa to study gorillas in the movie. During the expedition, she meets Tarzan and Terk, and the rest is history.
All of the characters can be found at various times throughout the day on Discovery Island, across from Pizzafari and and beside the gardens surrounding the Tree of Life.
We were told that there will be surprise characters popping up throughout the 25th Anniversary Earth Day Celebrations, so be sure to stay tuned to see who pops up next.
