Celebrate Earth Day and 25 years of Disney’s Animal Kingdom with a series of special treats. At Tamu Tamu Refreshments is the Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail Sundae, now available through April 30.
The treat is named after the park’s Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail attraction. The treat’s name is so long, it doesn’t fit on the Tamu Tamu signs.

Brownie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, caramel sauce, and trail crunch mix topped with a white chocolate image of Kejana
This is a simple yet satisfying sundae. The artificial fruit flavors of the Fruity Pebbles pair perfectly with the cold vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce.
The granola pieces mixed in works well too.
The brownie is the weakest part since the outer edges were hard but the middle was soft and moist. It had a rich chocolate flavor.
Despite the weak brownie, we would still recommend this treat.

My youngest daughter is actually turning 25 on the same day that Animal Kingdom celebrates her 25th anniversary. She was born 23 minutes after a rope drop on the first day. We are celebrating it by going to Disney World. She will be taking her family, including her four year old daughter, and I will be tagging along. I also had a shirt made for my daughter saying she’s celebrating with AK.
