New Disney100 The Eras: The Wonderful World of Color Collection Coming to shopDisney May 15

While the Disney100 Decades series has seen steady entries almost monthly since the celebration kicked off in January, the Eras collection has been a bit more sparse. Now we have the next entry in the series, themed to the classic TV show “Walt Disney’s Wonderful World of Color.”

The second entry in the Disney100 Eras series features the classic series “Walt Disney’s Wonderful World of Color,” which is the name under which the series ran from 1961 to 1969. This line will feature items inspired by the series, including a polka-dotted sweater and athletic shorts. Other items from the line have yet to be showcased.

“Walt Disney’s The Wonderful World of Color” started off as the “Disneyland” TV series in 1954, before being renamed “Walt Disney Presents” in 1958, and underwent several format changes until it essentially became a vehicle for showing Disney films on TV in the 1970s and 80s until the late 2000s.

Those hoping to pick up items from Disney100 The Eras: The Wonderful World of Color Collection should head to shopDisney.com starting May 15 at midnight Pacific Time. It’s likely these items will also be available at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World on the same day for those local to or visiting the parks.

This will be the second entry in the Eras series, with the first for the Walt Disney Studios itself back in January.
