The Darth Vader meet and greet exclusive to Disney Visa Cardmembers has reopened in Star Wars Launch Bay at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Darth Vader Visa Meet and Greet Returns

While all guests have been able to meet Darth Vader and Chewbacca for the past year, the Disney Visa Cardmember exclusive meet and greet has been suspended since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Disney Visa Darth Vader meet and greet is to the right of the BB-8 meet and greet. Guests must present their Disney Visa debit or credit card. This meet and greet typically has a shorter wait time, plus an actual PhotoPass photographer instead of an automated camera.

The regular Darth Vader meet and greet remains open, too.

Star Wars Launch Bay

In 2020, Star Wars Launch Bay was used as a Relaxation Station. It later reopened as a walk-through exhibit, but mostly remained closed due to COVID-19 until its announced reopening on July 17 last year. Guests once again were given an opportunity to meet beloved Star Wars characters such as Chewbacca and BB-8.

There are costume exhibits, models, concept art, and movie props strewn about, along with settings inspired by the films.
